A software company in Birmingham has widened their client payment solutions to great effect with the addition of Asset Leasing from Technology Leasing. The Client - MTAS are a solutions oriented company having provided Facilities Management and Maintenance Management Solutions since 1983, under the global product name UltraSys. MTAS are almost unique in being prepared to research clients requirements and provide a total and guaranteed solution for a fixed price, all within an agreed timescale. No project is too large and no system is too small. Having clients within manufacturing, process industries, Local Government, MOD, Health sector and the service sector, etc. as well as Facilities Management and Maintenance Management Companies. The Requirement – Over the past year MTAS had come across several clients in both the private and public sectors who wished to procure their product solutions, however, the budget either was not available at the time or too small. To increase customer service, improve order intake time scales and increase order values, MTAS had to come up with an additional payment solution.

On a visit to an exhibition being held at the NEC Simon Danvers, MTAS Business Development Manager met Steve Felmingham, a Technology Leasing Regional Director on the Technology Leasing Stand. After discussing various issues, Steve agreed to visit MTAS to investigate how Asset Leasing could become an integrated payment solution within the MTAS product line. After a successful visit, MTAS agreed to trial how effective, Leasing as a payment solution and Technology Leasing as a supplier would fit within their business ideals.
The Result – An NHS client requiring a substantial value of software but without the budget decided on a lease solution. 48 hours after commissioning the clients system, MTAS received full payment. What MTAS say – Since the deal date Mr Felmingham has shown us further ways he and Technology Leasing, can benefit our business.
